Terms of service

The rules. There are not many.

Last updated: 2026-05-17

1. The service

StorkDrop is a hosted web application that lets families track and share the progress of a labor and delivery. By using it you agree to these terms.

2. Not a medical device

StorkDrop is not a medical device. It is a status board for friends and family. It does not diagnose, monitor, or guide medical decisions. Nothing in it should be treated as medical advice. Talk to your medical team about anything that matters.

3. Free during MVP

The product is free while it’s in MVP. We may introduce paid features later (printed keepsakes, custom domains). We’ll be clear about pricing before you pay anything.

4. Your account

You’re responsible for your account. Don’t share your sign-in code, and tell us if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.

5. Acceptable use

Don’t use StorkDrop to:

  • Harass, threaten, or impersonate anyone.
  • Post content that’s unlawful, hateful, or sexually explicit.
  • Probe, scan, or attack the service, or use it in ways designed to overload our infrastructure.
  • Pretend to be the parents on a tracker that isn’t yours.
  • Resell, repackage, or scrape StorkDrop pages or data without our written permission.

We can suspend or remove accounts and trackers that violate this section.

6. Your content

You own what you post. By posting it on StorkDrop, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host and display that content for the purpose of running the service: showing it on your tracker page to the audience you’ve chosen. The license ends when you delete the content or your account. We don’t use your content to train AI models.

7. Guestbook content from others

Depending on the tracker’s visibility settings, guests with access may post to the guestbook or name-guess board. The tracker owner can remove individual posts or close the boards. StorkDrop is not responsible for content other people post on your tracker.

8. Availability and changes

The service is provided on an “as-is” basis. We aim for high uptime but don’t guarantee it. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. If we shut down a feature you depend on, we’ll give reasonable notice and a way to export what you put in.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, StorkDrop and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Total liability for any claim is capped at the greater of (a) what you’ve paid us in the past 12 months or (b) one hundred US dollars.

10. Termination

You can stop using StorkDrop at any time. We can terminate accounts that violate these terms or that have been inactive long enough that we’re cleaning up storage.

11. Contact

Questions, abuse reports, or takedown requests: support@storkdrop.baby.
